The synergies between EDINAF (European Digital Naval Foundation) and other European Defence Fund (EDF) projects lie in their shared goal of creating a unified, interoperable digital ecosystem for naval operations. EDINAF provides a reference digital architecture and a joint naval operational cloud, which can integrate with other EDF initiatives focused on smart ships, structural health monitoring, cybersecurity, or multi-domain operations. This common framework enables data standardization, cloud-based services, and digital twin technologies, fostering interoperability among European navies and EDF-funded platforms.
